I have experience in developing software products using various programming languages like Java and Python, frameworks like Angular and Spring and tools like Git and ElasticSearch.

Performed Statistical Analysis on quantitative Google Analytics data to model user trends, preferences, and demographics.

Built a visualization engine using a D3.js core and wrote an event-driven module to automate static site builds using Netlify.

Software Developer (Analyst)

Spearheaded the migration of a full-stack Java Applet based legacy application using Angular 5 and Struts, achieving an overall performance gain of ∼ 55% with ∼ 40% improvement in application stability.

Wrote PL/SQL scripts for fetching data from an Oracle DB and developed a RESTful Web Services Model for efficient integration with the Angular based front-end without affecting the existing microservices calls.

Developed a Trie-based searching algorithm to give real time portfolio suggestions based on current user input.

Became the youngest recipient of the Spartan Award (awarded to the most productive employee) for making timely deliveries with minimal defects.

Research Intern

Researched on the creation and analysis of a complex decryption algorithm, using constraint frame processing techniques and Google’s mobile vision framework, to decrypt proprietary anti-counterfeiting hologram labels and hence determine the authenticity of products. The algorithm achieved a classification accuracy of ∼ 87%.

Summer Analyst

Designed and developed a cache layer using Hazelcast IMDG to store static and infrequently changing business data.

Deployed the Hazelcast IMDG cluster on an AWS-EC2 environment and integrated it with the existing product modules to achieve ∼ 10 times faster access speeds for data retrieval from the cache layer.
